Visiting this website

You can browse without creating an account or submitting a form. The website does not include advertising trackers or third-party players for its project and service videos. Its images, fonts, and videos are provided locally or by your device. Links to Jonas’s LinkedIn profile do not themselves load LinkedIn content while you browse.

The site is configured for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. Hosting and security infrastructure can process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and the time of a request to deliver the site and protect it against misuse. This processing supports our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

LinkedIn posts

Where the LinkedIn feed is enabled, it is embedded through SociableKIT to display Jonas’s latest posts. Loading this feed connects your browser to SociableKIT and LinkedIn and may disclose technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page you are visiting. These external services may use cookies; see SociableKIT’s privacy policy and LinkedIn’s privacy policy and cookie policy.

When you contact Jonas

If you email or call, you choose what to share. This may include your name, work contact details, organization, and information about a prospective project. These details are used to respond, discuss your request, and manage any resulting professional relationship.

When you ask about an engagement, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform an agreed service. Other professional correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and conducting our business. Some records may also be needed to meet legal obligations.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary. Without sufficient contact or project information, we may be unable to respond meaningfully. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

Service providers and external links

Hosting, communications, and email providers may process information needed to provide their services. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive information where necessary to meet an applicable obligation. Following an external link or contacting Jonas through LinkedIn brings you under that service’s privacy arrangements.

Some providers operate internationally. Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection requirements must be met, for example through an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

Enquiry and correspondence records are kept for as long as needed to respond and manage the relevant professional relationship. The appropriate period depends on the purpose of the communication, whether it leads to an engagement, and any applicable record-keeping or legal-claim requirements. Technical log retention depends on the hosting and security services involved. You can contact us about retention of your particular information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, restriction of its use, or a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable data-protection law.

Send requests to [email protected]. We may need enough information to verify your identity before responding. You can also raise a concern with the Belgian Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority where you live or work. The European Data Protection Board explains these rights.

Cookies and updates

See the cookie notice for how the site uses browser storage and hosting security features. This notice may be updated when the website or relevant processing changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
